Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
The blue door of the Cedar Creek Winery in Cedarburg, Wis., leads to a an opportunity to taste wines produced in the Midwest.
This photo was taken on an early spring day before the ivy had a chance to leaf and cover the walls. The lighting was a bit flat, so HDR filters were used to emulate golden afternoon lighting.
As a designer, I try to find the little twist that sparks a connection, a wave of delight. When not otherwise occupied with developing brands, logos, packaging and trade show displays, I travel with my artist husband in search of inspiration. Many of the photos are from my home state of Wisconsin and from Spain and Peru. Wherever we go, the camera is in my hand, capturing the little things that inspire awe or make me smile. And because I love to tinker, I often play in Photoshop to create unique results. It is a lot of fun, especially when they have the seasonal Cedarburg festivals. The Strawberry festival is coming up on June 23
